[Original] Digital Oil Paint - "The Next Move"

This is one of the painting where I did it more with my body than my mind. There was no preplanning, I was having a difficult time finding the reference I wanted to draw. At the final straw, I decided to pick a simple light study reference and drew my OC Ivy Hadleny from Beiton Arbiters.

Afterwards, I felt in love with it. I was so glad that I drew this piece that day. I loved it so much and decided to do a digital painting of it. I wanted to have the painterly effect to capture the raw emotion. I always wanted the presence of Ivy to feel serene and graceful. In the setting, there is a challenge ahead, but she is not afraid of it.

Based on my social engagement, it's clear to me that not everyone liked this piece as much as I did, but that's okay. Sometimes we just have to indulge ourselves with what we love and the fans take the back seat row.

As always, this one will be available for digital print at $30 a piece 6"x8" size plus shipping. Anyone who orders my print will receive a hand signed copy by yours truly.
